Trade AI is the paid add-on for the paperwork nobody went into the trade for. It sits on top of Quotes & invoices (free for every account) and is one flat price for the whole business, not per branch. Find it under AI Tools when Quotes & invoices is switched on.
What it does
- Quotes drafted from photos and a description. Describe the job as you would to a mate, or add photos of it, and the lines are filled in. Prices come from your own past quotes wherever a line matches; anything the AI has to estimate is marked so you check it before sending. The photos travel with the job.
- A materials list for each job. When an accepted quote becomes a job, the van list is drafted from the quote lines (switch it off if you prefer). You or whoever does the job ticks it off on the phone. Ticking needs no bundle.
- Follow-ups on quotes that go quiet. A friendly nudge 3 and 7 days after a quote is sent and not answered: two at most, never past the quote's valid-until date, and you can switch it off. Each one shows under AI activity. There is also a "Follow up now" button on the quote.
- A final notice for overdue invoices. When reminders have not worked, draft a firm, fair letter before claim. The legal paragraph is chosen for the customer type: 14 days for a business customer (with statutory late-payment interest if you have that on), the 30-day Pre-Action Protocol wording for a household, with a note on the forms you must enclose. You read and edit it, then print the PDF to post or email it. Automatic reminders stop once a formal letter has gone.
- A job report for the customer. What we did, what we used, how to look after it, and your guarantee in your own words. Draft it on the job (or have it drafted when a job is marked done). Once you approve it, it prints on the invoice, goes in the invoice email and shows on the customer's invoice page.
- Where you win and lose. Win rate by price band, how long customers take to decide and to pay, quoted labour against real hours on site, and website quote requests still waiting for a price, from your real numbers, with one thing to do about each.

The rules
The AI never sends anything on its own except the capped follow-ups you switch on. It never changes a price, a total or a status. Photos must be uploaded through SENTIREV. Final-notice letters are templates, not legal advice.
