Features that now talk to each other

A sweep of the places where one setting quietly ignored another: the shop switch and the shop feature, the Features tab, sponsored placement, team chat, the photo gallery and card readers all now follow one switch each. Costs and profit moved into Analytics and into your reports.

We went through the dashboard looking for settings that did not affect the things they should, and joined them up.

What changed: - Sell products and the Shop feature are one switch. Turning either off hides the shop everywhere, including the AI tools that need it. - Settings, then Features now lists sponsored placement, team chat, the photo gallery and card readers, so each can be switched off. Switching one off really stops it: a running promotion is paused, team messages are refused, public photos are hidden and readers cannot take payments. - Takings this week and Costs and profit now live in one place: Operations AI, then Analytics. The costs you log there appear in your generated reports, in AI insights and in the weekly digest, so profit is worked out from real numbers. - Home shows the same kind of card whichever switch is off: a Take bookings card when bookings are off, an Open a shop card when the shop is off, and nothing when both are on. - Billing is now called Subscriptions and sits inside AI Tools, with a basket instead of a bar across the bottom of the page. The basket lists what you picked, lets you remove items, and never covers the assistant or accessibility buttons. - The Team page buttons (Hours, Services, Time off and the rest) use one neutral style. - Independent workers can now be given any of the five bundles. Communication AI gives them AI-drafted replies to reviews of their own appointments and follow-ups to their own clients; Website AI writes the copy for their own book-with-me page. Nothing they do touches the business's inbox, website or reviews. - When you sign up or add a branch you can tick more than one way of working: customers come to you, you travel to them, or online. A branch that does all three lets the customer choose where each booking happens, and the address question only appears when they pick a home visit.

The phone app shows the same cards, switches and choices.
